Although we don't selectively breed for Palomino colouring due to the Coed Coch lines carrying so much dilute coloured blood it is easy to produce them aswell as keeping the lines and type of pony we wish to breed correct. We currently have the ponies listed below and hope to have dilute foals for sale in 2007.

I know he isn't Palomino but he was born Palomino before greying out and has left a beautiful Palomino filly in 2005 (shown below) and leaves solid colours more than grey and will form the basis of the next few years breeding program.

bone and action and a superb temperament, and all of his foals to date have
inherited these superb qualities. By the lovely stallion Coed Coch Llesol and out
of the supreme champion mare Coed Coch Ann, making him maternal brother to
Supreme Champion Churtoncroft Aries ( At the Runshaw Stud, Lancashire)

Palomino
colt foaled 2000. Approved with the British Palomino Society and to be shown
2006 in relevant classes. Very attractive colt with a
good dark colour, superb mover and a beautiful head.
His sire is multi Supreme Champion Churtoncroft Aries and his dam is also Supreme Champion mare Churtoncroft Pryddest. Sure to follow in their footsteps as winner first time out when shown as a foal, un-shown since due to Foot and Mouth Epidemic. October 2002 'Minto' has his first show and is placed 1st in open youngstock and then 6th to his sire in the open welsh class, any section any age! 2003 --Although only very lightly shown he has won 4th in the 2 and 3 year old colt class at Northern Welsh and Native breeds show in April, 1st 3 year old colt at Clwyd Welsh Pony and Cob Association Summer Show in June, 12th in the 3 year old colt class at the Royal Welsh in July and then 1st and reserve Youngstock Champion at NCPA Maelor in August ! beautiful young filly who is the full sister to the up and coming colt
Churtoncroft Pryd and who have both taken their sires superb action and front.
Like her brother she is proving to be very quality and becoming a true clear Palomino colour!!
